The Project Manager will lead large-scale electrical construction projects within the rapidly expanding data center and mission-critical sector. This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through completion, with responsibility for client relationships, financial performance, scheduling, coordination, and overall project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Partner with senior project leadership to establish project goals, schedules, procedures, and performance standards.
- Oversee project budgets, financial performance, forecasting, contracts, and project controls.
- Represent the company in client meetings and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Coordinate with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with NEC requirements, OSHA standards, company safety policies, and project specifications.
- Oversee takeoffs, pricing, change orders, and additional project work.
- Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and overall project performance.
- Support business development efforts and strengthen relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and financial records throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing electrical construction projects valued at $10M+.
- Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, ground-up construction, or complex commercial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Journeyman or Master Electrical License preferred.
- Proficiency with Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, BIM 360, MS Project, P6, or similar construction software.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction, subcontractor and vendor management, contracts, scheduling, project controls, and financial performance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Willingness to travel as project requirements dictate.
- Ability to successfully complete required background and motor vehicle checks.
