$1.5 Billion Investment in Transmission Projects Announced

In October 2024,the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced a significant investment of $1.5 billion to support the development of four critical transmission infrastructure projects across the country. This funding initiative is part of the Transmission Facilitation Program (TFP), a government effort designed to expedite the development of new transmission systems and enhance the nation’s energy grid.

The Transmission Facilitation Program aims to address the growing demand for clean and reliable energy, improve grid resilience, and reduce congestion across the national power network.
